Designing an Internal Inventory Tool

I designed and built an internal inventory tool to centralize product and asset information and reduce reliance on manual tracking. I started by defining requirements around ease of use, data consistency, and fast access to critical information. The system was structured to store inventory details in a normalized format, allowing users to quickly search, filter, and update records without introducing duplication or errors.

From an engineering perspective, I focused on creating a maintainable and scalable design. This included building a responsive interface, implementing role-based access where appropriate, and ensuring the data model could support future expansion. The result was a practical internal tool that improved visibility into inventory, streamlined workflows, and reduced time spent managing and locating product information.
